Who is New West?

Founded in 1971 as the Wenz-Neely Public Relations firm, New West has grown into a full service marketing communications company. Our strength is the ability to develop and execute innovative programs that use any or all forms of communication to help our clients succeed. What makes your agency different?

New West practices what we call “WorldView 360.” Simply put, we believe every organization is viewed from 360 degrees. We are convinced that to succeed, communications must also be 360 degrees. WorldView 360 is the all-encompassing pursuit of consistent communications driven by a common strategy. It recognizes that no single form of communication be it advertising, public relations or promotions, can answer the most fundamental question asked by all various audiences, “Why should I care?” Our philosophy is never to favor one form of communication over another, but instead, to design each element to complement all other elements, so that the whole is greater than the sum of all parts.

What does New West offer?

We provide all the services you expect from a full-service agency and then some. Our public relations group is among the most recognized in the region. Our advertising and creative services group designs everything from award-winning advertising campaigns to Web sites. Our special events group coordinates community events for thousands of people as well as intimate affairs for fewer than 50.

How do you manage your clients?

New West is strongly committed to a team approach that builds a partnership with our clients. We typically assign an account manager to be the principal point of contact. The remainder of the team is staffed with specialists to meet the requirements of each project. For example, for major strategy brainstorming we may gather a team from around the country. For execution of a specific element, we may limit involvement to one individual. We have found this “expanding-contracting” method to be highly effective in providing a sufficient base of support in times of greater need, without requiring costly overhead on a continual basis.

New West is a horizontal, as opposed to a vertical, structure. The account team you see is the account team you get, actually doing the work on a day-to-day basis. Even our agency CEO is a functioning practitioner who works on accounts. We do not believe in excess layers or supervisors. The result to our clients is superior account service, delivered by knowledgeable, experienced professionals who understand not only the “big picture” but also the importance of executing the details.
