To rapidly build awareness of a new unknown brand of health insurance, New West devised and executed a strategic launch introducing KHC as a highly personable, credible alternative to well-established major corporate health insurance providers. With a multi-media advertising campaign, a targeted PR and social media program, a comprehensive community outreach effort and more, the “newest kid on the block” has secured the highest percentage of new members on Kentucky’s Health Benefit Exchange—achieving 164% of its enrollment goal within the first year.
